-"Autostrada del sole A 1 Milano - Roma" until the Firenze Certosa exit.
-Superstrada Firenze-Siena (Autopalio) until the Monteriggioni exit.
-At the exit ramp turn right and take the first exit of the tournabout, drive in this road to Colle di Val d'Elsa direction.
-This road is straight and slightly downhill.
-After about 1 Km. on the left you will see a sign for Strove and Abbadia a Isola, take this road.
-Drive through the hamlet of Abbadia a Isola after about 1 Km. you will see Castel Pietraio on your left.
-Thake the dirt driveway on the left up to the castle, and park in the parking area.

-At the exit ramp turn right direction Siena street n° 326
- Near Siena take Superstrada Firenze-Siena (Autopalio) until the Monteriggioni exit.
-At the exit ramp turn right and take the first exit of the tournabout, drive in this road to Colle di Val d'Elsa direction.
-Take this road on the right just past the bar in direction of Colle di Val d'Elsa.
